Cover the pot with a thin layer of thickener. The thickener will function as a primer and help the fabric to consolidate on the surface. Primed pot should be dry. On the front side of the material you chose, put the pattern and cut the material along it. Place the obtained piece of cloth on a flat dish and pour a little thickener on top. Spread the thickener on the surface of the fabric with a brush. Then take the cloth and hold it over the dish until excess liquid is drained. Squeeze the fabric is not worth it, otherwise, it will be dented, and your pot will look sloppy.
