Remember, as a child, we wondered what to make chewing gum? I remember that we even made up our own recipes and shared with each other the secrets of cooking with pleasure. And although the homemade gum turned out not at all the same as the store, everyone was happy. Today we will try to catch up, and prepare a real chewing gum at home.

In the USSR, the cud was imported illegally, and if a person chewed it, it was considered successful. Even in the "dashing" 90th gum pointed to the social status of man.

After a while, in Russia they decided to start their own production of this product. So, thanks to various experiments, Frutell appeared on the market. Later conditioners experimented with different ways of getting this product. Chewing gum was made even from resin and birch sap! Despite the fact that such a chewing gum has, frankly, not very appetizing appearance, it is tasty enough and, most importantly, beneficial for our body.

How to make a cud at home: a recipe

Gum for weight loss: truth or myth?

Do you know that chewing gum is not only tasty, but also useful, as it helps to lose weight? Moreover, this method is already used by millions of girls and women around the globe! You do not need to spend time and money on the search for "special chewing gum for weight loss." The most usual chewing gum suits!

Most glossy magazines claim that chewing gum burns as much as 100 Kcal per hour! Is it really? The answer is yes! It turns out that when you chew the cud, the stomach begins to produce gastric juice, like after a meal. This fixes the brain and gives a signal that the body is full. Therefore, the feeling of hunger is dulled for some time. In other words, chewing gum, we are deceiving our bodies.

There is also a special chewing gum for weight loss, which contains fat-burning ingredients. This gum produces well-known American company Slim Gum. It is used by professional athletes and girls who are actively involved in sports.

However, it should be remembered that losing weight with the help of gum alone is a dubious and unsafe method. Do not chew gum on an empty stomach! The secretion of gastric juice in an empty stomach can cause the appearance of various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, up to a stomach ulcer.

If you want to lose weight without harming your health, start with proper nutrition and exercise. Chewing gum is intended only to dull the feeling of hunger in the intervals between main meals.

For example, if you are accustomed to drop in at a nearby cafe at lunchtime, and enjoy a cup of coffee and fragrant pastry there, better chew the cud! You will feel satiated, but, at the same time, instead of the usual 400-500 Kcal, only 150-160 will enter your body (this figure calculates the caloric content of the gum). If you adhere to these rules, the problem of overweight will gradually stop bothering you.
