Bread - around the head
Bread is on our table more often than other pastries. So you can experiment and cook it yourself. To do this, prepare 400 ml of kefir (water mixed with kefir, or whey), vegetable oil (2-3 tablespoons), 1 tsp. Of soda, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. l sugar (or honey). Use wheat or rye flour (you can mix them in equal proportions) - as much as you need to get a dough that does not hold the form: you take it in your hand, and it slips. Stir kefir, soda, salt and sugar. Add flour and knead the dough. Now add the butter and knead the dough again. Lay it in a greased form, cover with polyethylene, and on top - with a cloth, and leave for 10-12 hours to fit (rose and increased 2 times). Feel free to put the form in the oven and bake the bread at 180 ° C for an hour. After that, take the bread out of the mold and let it cool completely. You can try!
Unsweetened Tortillas with Potatoes and Cheese
You will not need an oven to cook this dish. We will cook in the pan. Make dough from flour and kefir (whey, water - what is on hand), so that it turns out to be quite soft, knead it. Add vegetable oil and again knead the dough. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes, and then - divided into balls of 60-70 g. We begin to prepare the filling. Boiled potatoes, boiled in uniform (3-4 pieces), clean and rub on a coarse grater. Do the same with hard cheese. Cut any greens (dill, parsley). Mix all ingredients, add spices (black pepper, basil, salt). From the resulting mass, roll the balls of the same size as the dough. Now roll the ball of dough into a cake about 3 mm thick. In the center of the lozenge put a ball of filling, lift the edges of the lozenge and fasten them on top to make a bag. Roll out the bag with a rolling pin into a tortilla and put it on a frying pan heated over medium heat. At the same time do not grease the pan. When the cake is reddened, turn it over and now grease the upper part with butter. When the second side is reddened, turn it over again (with the greased side down) and grease the other side. Turn it over again. Thus, you will fry each cake twice with each side - without oil and with butter. Flapjacks are ready!
I wish you good health and bon appetite. Cook with love, enjoy wholesome food, share it with loved ones. Take care of yourself!
