Would you like drinks to be fragrant, and their taste warmed you throughout the spring? Do not be afraid to experiment with spices.. Each of the spices is unique, and with proper mixing of different types you can create unique bouquets of aroma and taste. We offer you to prepare three different drinks that will not just warm you up, but also add vivacity.
Ginger tea with lemon
Ginger has a warming property, and due to the high content of essential oil, promotes good metabolism and easily helps to lose weight. Ginger invigorates, so you should drink this tea in the morning.
Now ginger is sold in any large supermarket and is very cheap there. We buy one ginger root, wash it and clean it, cut into thin ringlets. For two or three cups, we need one ring of ginger, one ring of lemon and a teaspoon of honey. We put all this in the kettle and pour 200 ml of boiling water over it, infuse for about 5 minutes. You can add a sprig of mint to this tea. If you like a more tart taste, hold the ginger a little longer, and after 5 minutes it should be removed: if it strongly infusions, the tea will burn in the mouth. To ginger is not lost, it is better to cut it all, put in the freezer and get a little ring on the tea. You can put ginger in the usual black, green tea. If you are sick, then by all means put it in tea with raspberry jam - ginger well kills germs and heals a sore throat.
Hot chocolate with cinnamon
One of the most popular drinks in winter is hot chocolate, both adults and children love to feast on it.
Pour the milk into the pan (400 ml for two portions), add two teaspoons of sugar. Milk bring to a boil, stir to dissolve the sugar, and turn off. Half-bars of dark chocolate can be broken into small pieces and dissolved in hot milk. A tasty drink is obtained by adding one teaspoon of Nesquik cocoa. Pour the chocolate in glasses, top it can be decorated with cream, sprinkled with cinnamon. It should be borne in mind that the cream is very quickly deposited in a glass, so you must serve the drink immediately.
Compote of dried fruits with cloves
Dried apples, dried apricots, raisins, pears, cherries, prunes, rosehips are sorted and rinsed with hot water. You can take all the fruits and berries, but you can take some of the above. If apples and pears are very dry, you can soak them for 30 minutes in hot water. Pour water into an enameled pot (I take 3 liters), dried fruit should be 300-400 g. First, put apples, pears and rosehips in the water, when the compote boils, boil everything until softened. Then add raisins, cherries, dried apricots and 4-5 cloves for flavor. Sugar put to taste, so that the compote is not clotted. Compote should be thoroughly infused before drinking.
Earlier in the countries, spices were worth their weight in gold, a struggle was fought for them, and now they are easily accessible in our stores. We do not have to fight for them and lay out big money, so feel free to use them in the preparation of various dishes, including drinks. However, do not overdo it by adding them everywhere - for a vivid effect you have enough of them a small amount. If you do not know what spices to combine with what, then try to go to the markets. There are still sellers on the trays who carefully put spices in small bags and give practical advice. Be sure to find such a person in the city, and you will not regret it!
And if you are still sick, 6 tasty cold drinks will help you to recover. Health and bon appetit you!
