Everyone knows that seafood is very useful, and in combination with rice, they acquire great taste.
Here is several recipes for cooking rice with seafood.
Rice with Chinese seafood
Composition:
- sea cocktail - 500 g
- rice - 1 tbsp.
- onions - 1 pc
- sweet red pepper - 1 pc
- garlic - 3 cloves
- ginger root - 100 g
- wasabi - 1 tsp.
- soy sauce - 100 ml
- soybean oil - 50 ml
- butter - 20 g
- salt - to taste
Cooking:
- Rice should be boiled in salted water, based on the proportion: 1 cup of rice per 2 cups of water.
- Cut onion, pepper and garlic into small cubes. On a fine grater, rub the ginger root.
- Thawed sea cocktail should be fried in a pan with butter until the liquid has completely evaporated.
- Then pour soy sauce into seafood and let it soak for a short time.
- In vegetable oil, fry onion until golden brown, add pepper, ginger and garlic and leave to simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add the seafood to the vegetables and simmer for 2 more minutes.
- To the mixture, add the boiled rice mixed with wasabi soy sauce. Mix everything thoroughly and simmer another 2 minutes.
- The finished dish is served with pickled ginger, wasabi and, if desired, sake. By the way, eating it with chopsticks is not at all necessary!
Rice with seafood as a side dish
Composition:
- rice - 1 tbsp.
- seafood (preferably mussels) - 200 g
- garlic - 3 cloves
- onions - 1 pc
- carrots - 1 pc
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc
- canned corn - 5 tbsp. l
- dry white wine - 50 ml
- salt, pepper, greens - to taste
Cooking:
- Boil rice until cooked in salted water.
- Finely chop the garlic and onions, chop the carrots and peppers into small straws.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the garlic and onion in it for 2 minutes on low heat, then add the carrots and fry for another 5 minutes.
- Then add the Bulgarian pepper, corn, salt, pepper, mix everything thoroughly and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Pour the wine into the prepared mass, not slowing down the fire, and stew until the alcohol is evaporated. Add seafood, bring to a boil and simmer it all together for 5 minutes.
- Add the boiled rice to the vegetables, sprinkle with all the greens, and your dish is ready!
Rice with seafood and tomato
Composition:
- sea cocktail - 500 g
- rice - 300 g
- red bell pepper - 1 pc
- onions - 1 pc
- garlic - 3 cloves
- Tomato - 1 pc
- carrots - 1 pc
- olive or vegetable oil
- dill, salt, ground pepper - to taste
Cooking:
- Fry seafood in a pan in vegetable or olive oil, set aside.
- Finely chop the garlic and onion, pepper it is necessary to cut into cubes, rub carrots on a medium grater.
- Put the tomato in boiling water for just a few seconds, and carefully remove the skin from it; cut the peeled tomato into cubes.
- In olive or vegetable oil, fry the onion and garlic until they become transparent, add the carrots and paprika. Fry the mixture over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Add tomato, simmer still 10 minutes (tomato should give juice).
- Then add the washed rice, add the pepper and salt.
- Fill all with water (approximately 600-700 ml).
- When almost all the liquid has evaporated, add seafood, stir, turn off the heat and leave the dish under the lid for 15 minutes so that it is infused.
Variations on the theme of seafood with rice can be a huge amount! Do not be afraid to apply fantasy. Enjoy your meal!
