One room for three - what to do

With some sadness, magazines are scrolling around, where they colorfully describe how to beat a nursery. And because I am not the only one! How many families live in cramped housing conditions? No one counted. Approximate figures of statistics, and only.

What to do when a child lives in the same room besides the parents? We will not advise to change the housing (there would be such an opportunity, it would be a long time to move out). But to organize the space correctly is quite feasible. And then set the mode of the day so that the parents have time to communicate with each other.

Start by reviewing your furniture: even in a limited space, there are usually a few pieces of interior that, if properly placed, will help you get the most out of a small space. It is desirable to separate the wardrobe space into two parts. One of which (the smaller one) is the children's room, and the second is the adult one. Yes, such a division will significantly reduce the free space in the center. But what is more important: to show rare guests their cozy home or comfortable family living? If desired, the back side of the cabinet can be pasted over with children's drawings, family photos, funny pictures from advertising brochures or magazines. If the housing is removable (and the master furniture), then you should not get involved in "art-creativity." Just select a roll of wallpaper on sale and use it from the outside of the cabinet.

Sometimes planning, when the windows overlook only one side of the room. Then behind the cabinet should hang a sconce with multiple levels of lighting. The brightest mode will be used for games and reading, and muffled - before going to bed, during going to the toilet at night. On the one hand, the cost of electricity will slightly increase, on the other hand, the child will have his own personal space. Having turned the cupboard face down into the “adult part” of the room, hooks for the child’s clothes can be additionally attached to the back of the furniture. If the back wall of the chiffonier is made of thin plywood, then it is recommended to attach a flat wooden plank along the entire length, and then hooks to it.

Ideally, the bed of the parents could be transformed. For example, it is comfortable to sleep on the couch, and during the day to fold it up to increase the area of games. The dining table, when freed from foreign objects, is quite suitable for practicing with a child: drawing, modeling, and appliqué. Special clothes dryer compactly folds and unfolds. It can be put in any convenient place, moving if necessary.

TV, computer and other electronics should be placed only on the territory of adults. Thus, it is easier to set the daily mode. At the time of putting the child to sleep, it is better to stop watching video, loud music and other distracting sounds. Creating a ritual will help to quickly fall asleep to the child. For example, you can set the following sequence: dinner, a quiet game or reading, cleaning toys in place, bathing, brushing your teeth, bedding and bedtime stories. Compliance with the schedule will allow the child to fall asleep faster, and parents - to communicate in private before bedtime.

After the child falls asleep, parents can complete all the water procedures at bedtime, watch a movie (or part of it), recall the "matrimonial duty" and then sleep peacefully. It is not necessary to have sex immediately after putting the child up: there is a high probability of awakening from incomprehensible sounds and further fright while observing the “struggle” of the parents. It is quite realistic to wait an hour: to play games together on a computer, watch videos with a muffled sound, chat in the kitchen, do some household chores in the kitchen or in the bathroom.

The thoughtful organization of your space and the established daily routine will help to create coziness in a room of any size. Happiness to you!
