How to plant and grow Potentilla shrub?

You can plant it with the help of seeds, cuttings or branches.

If you take good care of the plant and cut off damaged, dry branches and inflorescences, then during the flowering period you will receive a copious amount of small flowers that will be an additional decoration of your territory. Seed viability is very high and reaches ninety percent.

Whatever breeding method you choose, remember to plant in well-sanctified areas. If the sun is extremely small, then grow, shinged, will not become.

It is not whimsical to the soil, but you can please it and prepare the top layer of soil yourself. To do this, it will be necessary to take leaf land, humus and sand in a ratio of 2: 2: 1. It is important to provide drainage. For these purposes, use pebbles from the river or pieces of brick. The drainage layer should be up to twenty centimeters, then it will be optimal.

If you plant a whole-leaf plant, the longest root should be shortened. Thus, you will define a program for branching the root system.

The depth of the pit for planting Potentilla shrub is fifty to sixty centimeters. There is a drainage at the bottom, we remember that. Above it poured nutrient layer of soil.

Better if you prepare the pit for landing ahead of time. Then the earth will settle down and settle down. This will be the best condition for landing.

Above the nutrient it is better to pour the soil from the top layer of the land that remained when you dug a hole.

Planting should be carried out in such a way that the root neck is barely covered with a layer of soil.

Between plants it will be optimal to leave a distance of ninety, and better, at one hundred and twenty centimeters. Such landing rules are good for small groups, for example. This allows the plant to get all the necessary nutrients from the soil and not interfere with the rest.

However, if you want to secure yourself with a colorful border, it will be sufficient to observe a smaller distance of thirty to fifty centimeters.

Planting is best in early spring in late March - early April. It is possible and landing in early autumn. The main thing is to give the plant time so that it can adapt, grow strong and rooted to the cold.
