According to statistics, approximately 6% of the population in the gallbladder polyps are diagnosed. In 80% of such a diagnosis is made specifically for women after 35 years. So what are the reasons for their education? How can this be dangerous? And most importantly, what methods of treatment exist?
Causes of polyp formation in the gallbladder
To date, specialists can not accurately form the causes of the formation of polyps in the gallbladder, there are only theoretical guesses. According to many scientists, the presence of polyps in the gallbladder has an asymptomatic course, but if symptoms appear, then we will most likely talk about cholelithiasis and other associated diseases.
The formation of bile occurs in the liver, after which, along the ducts, it follows into the gallbladder, where its accumulation and concentration occurs. The final destination of the bile is the duodenum, where the main digestion of fats will take place.
For some reasons, there may be changes in the volume of the gallbladder, because of which its accumulative ability will suffer, with the subsequent formation of bile stasis. In turn, stagnation will have a direct and negative impact on the mucous membrane of the gallbladder - its destruction. Due to compensatory functions, the formation of polyps of various types and structures can occur - on a stem with a round head, or without a rod.
Polyps on the rod, even smaller than 10 mm, deserve close attention. Experts recommended to conduct research every six months (for 2 years), then annually. As soon as growth was noted - the polyp needs to be removed at once. Formations without a leg (rod) are considered more dangerous, it is precisely they that most often degenerate into malignant processes.-
Removal of the polyps in the gallbladder is performed endoscopically - cholystectomy. Through the holes in the skin, into the abdominal cavity, special endoscopic equipment is introduced with a mini video camera at the end, which will allow to visualize the whole process. After the endoscopic removal of the gallbladder, the patient’s recovery process is much faster.
Nutrition after surgery
When making a diagnosis - polyps in the gallbladder, and after its removal, adherence to a specific diet is shown. The basis of the diet is a reduction in protein intake - up to 90 g per day, and fat consumption is reduced - no more than 50-60g, the total amount of carbohydrates should not be more than 300g. Under a categorical ban products with excess cholesterol, essential oils and coarse fiber.
All foods must be mechanically sparing: it is necessary to limit fat and fried, exclude spicy, smoked, pickled. Fruits are best served in ground form or in the form of jelly. All cold foods are prohibited - an optimum temperature is required, and there should be 5-6 meals per day.
The presence of polyps in the gallbladder and even its removal is not a sentence, that diet that will have to be kept constantly not so tough, and of those products that are allowed, it is possible to cook delicious dishes. A detailed diet is selected individually, based on the patient's condition, the diagnosis, and the time after surgery.
