Oxolinic ointment: instructions for use

Three percent ointment is used in the treatment of herpes and warts. It is applied directly to the center, in the case of warts - daily for 2-3 months. But in the modern world, this medicine is already outdated, replaced by new means of dealing with warts, which act much more efficiently and quickly, for example, celandine or laser.

0.25% ointment is used as a treatment for conjunctivitis, viral rhinitis and in the prevention of colds. At the first disease, the medicine is laid in the lower eyelid 3 times a day or only at night. After application, close the eyes for 1 minute and rotate them so that the ointment melts and is evenly distributed over the front surface. The duration of the course is determined by the doctor.

In other cases, oxolinic ointment is applied nasally 2-3 times a day. During epidemics, the course of treatment can last a month. But, as practice shows, if the disease began to develop, this remedy is no longer as effective.
