Then the Goddess Flora repaid the young man for his loyalty to her throughout his life: she turned his body into the same flower, which from now on was called "Cornflower".
Cornflower is an annual plant, branchy stem, up to 80 cm long. The lower leaves are pinnate, the upper ones are linear, they are covered with rough hairs. The flowers are bright blue, gathered in an inflorescence - an oblong basket measuring 2-3 cm. At the ends of the shoots are single baskets.
