- Rice - 2 tbsp.
- Bulgarian pepper - 2 kg
- Tomato juice - 2 l
- Carrots - 2 kg
- Onions - 2 kg
- Salt - 3 tbsp. l
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.
- Vegetable oil - 800 g
- Vinegar 9% - 1 tbsp.
- Salt - to taste.
- Mix vinegar, sugar, vegetable oil, salt and boil for 5 minutes in a saucepan.
- Then add shredded carrots there and boil for 10 minutes.
- Then add the onion chopped into half rings, simmer for 10 minutes, then add the Bulgarian pepper, chopped into straws and boil for another 10 minutes, after 2 liters. Tomato juice, boil for 10 minutes.
- Boil rice in salted water separately and add it to the mixture, boil for another 30 minutes.
- Salad needs to be laid out in sterilized jars, rolled up with covers, turned over, covered with a blanket and allowed to cool. Store in any cool place.
There is another version of salad Breakfast tourist. It is prepared the same way as the previous version of the salad, but without the addition of vinegar.
When preparing a salad, always choose the freshest vegetables. Bulgarian pepper must be red, tomatoes for juice must be ripe. To prepare the salad, you can use not only simple tomato juice, but also just the pulp of tomatoes. In the salad, you can also add greens to your taste.
