This recipe is unusual in that tomatoes are added to the pilaf. They give the dish juiciness, and barberry and ginger - a unique taste and aroma.

Composition:

  • 700 g of lamb;
  • 500 grams of rice;
  • 2 carrots;
  • 2 pcs. Luke;
  • 2 large tomatoes;
  • 1 unpeeled garlic head;
  • 2-3 garlic cloves;
  • ½ tsp grated ginger;
  • barberry, cumin, turmeric, salt - to taste;
  • filtered water;
  • olive oil.

Cooking:

  1. Prepare vegetables, meat and rice, as in the previous recipe.
  2. Ginger finely rub, and garlic cloves chop.
  3. We expose the "Frying" mode on the multicooker and add olive oil (it can be replaced by any vegetable). Put ginger, garlic and half of chopped onion in a bowl. Fry without stirring until golden.
  4. Spread mutton pieces in a multi-bowl, add barberry, zira, turmeric and salt and fry for 5 minutes. Then we extinguish the “Quenching” mode on the multicooker and cook the meat for about half an hour. If necessary, you can add a little water.
  5. Then lay out diced tomatoes and mix.
  6. Now add the remaining chopped onions. It must be laid out in an even layer, without stirring.
  7. In the same way we distribute grated carrots on top of the onion.
  8. It remains to lay out the rice and garlic head in a way known to us and pour water.
  9. Expose the desired mode and cook pilaf for about an hour.

And this dish will appreciate only the real gourmets. Do not be afraid that dried fruits give a sweet taste to the pilaf, because they are ideally combined with lamb and rice.

  • 600 g lamb;
  • 1 tbsp. rice;
  • onion head;
  • 1 large carrot;
  • 50 g prunes, dried apricots and raisins;
  • garlic head;
  • salt and spice mix;
  • filtered water;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking:

  1. Meat is washed, dried and cut into cubes.
  2. We clean vegetables, rub carrots into straws, and cut onions into half rings.
  3. Dried fruits thoroughly washed.
  4. On the multicooker set the mode "Frying" and add vegetable oil.
  5. We spread the lamb and fry for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Now add carrots and onions, season with spices and salt, fry for five minutes.
  7. We are switching the slow cooker to the "Quenching" mode and cooking lamb with vegetables for about half an hour. Add some water if needed.
  8. Then we spread the dried fruits, mix and simmer for a few minutes.
  9. Now evenly distribute the rice from above and add the garlic head. Pour water so that it covers rice for 1 cm, and set the program "Pilaf" or "Rice porridge" for 1 hour.
  10. A beep will alert us to the readiness of the dish.
