How to cook a cake Napoleon?

Composition:

For the test:

  1. flour - 320 g (2 tbsp.)
  2. margarine - 250 g
  3. water - 250 ml
  4. soda - 1 tsp
  5. Vinegar - 1 tbsp.
  6. Vodka - 1 tbsp.
  7. chicken egg - 1 pc

For cream:

  1. egg - 2 pieces
  2. sugar - 200 g
  3. flour and starch - 1 tbsp.
  4. milk - 0.5 l
  5. vanillin - 1 pack
  6. Vodka - 1 tbsp.

Cooking:

  • For the preparation of puff pastry necessary pounding with margarine. Separately in a bowl, beat an egg, quench the soda with vinegar, add water and vodka. Then combine the ingredients with margarine and flour, knead the dough.
  • Chill the dough for half an hour in the refrigerator. Divide it into ten pieces, roll them as thinly as possible onto the table. Preheat the oven well (up to 200 degrees) and bake each cake for about 7-10 minutes. While still in hot condition, cut over a stencil or dish to give it the necessary shape.

  • To make custard, you need to beat the eggs well, gradually adding sugar to the mixture. After that, starch and flour are introduced. To obtain the perfect uniformity of the cream, it is advisable to pour boiling milk into the resulting mass in a thin stream, stirring continuously. Then put on the fire to boil the cream for three minutes. A strip of cooling cream is added vanilla and vodka, well mixed.

  • Each cake is still warm to be well soaked with cream, stacked on top of each other to form a cake. According to the technology it is better to first prepare the cream, and then, at the time of cooling, do the kneading of the dough. For beauty, the top of the cake should be decorated with crumb from crushed scraps of cake and any fruit or berries. Ideally, let it brew for 12–20 hours to fully soak the cakes.
