  • Cabbage - 1 kg

Cooking:

  1. All the ingredients for the brine need to boil, then cool. After that add 9% vinegar and garlic.
  2. Beets need to be cleaned, cut into pieces and add to the pickle.
  3. Rinse the cabbage thoroughly, then chop. Put the chopped cabbage in stainless dishes and cover with brine.
  4. Place the cabbage with the pickle under pressure and incubate for 3 days. All this time, the cabbage should stand at room temperature, after which it should be moved to a cooler room.
  5. In a few days you will be able to eat cabbage.

  • Sugar - 200 g
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cinnamon - 0.5 g
  • Cloves - 0.5 g

Cooking:

  1. Cook the marinade. To do this, add vinegar to salt, sugar, cinnamon, cloves. Boil all this and strain.
  2. Wash cabbage and shred. Take a dish that does not oxidize, and place the cabbage in it.
  3. Add the resulting vinegar marinade to the cabbage, put on the fire and heat until the cabbage is soft.
  4. Leave the cabbage to cool, and you can eat it.

  3. Chop the cabbage and mix it with the remaining salt, while rubbing the cabbage with your hands. Then squeeze the cabbage and put it in the jar.
  4. Pour the cabbage in the jar with the cooled brine and cover with a lid.

The composition of the brine in a can of 3 liters:

  • Bay leaf - 3 pcs.
  • Black hot pepper peas - 15 pcs.
  • Cinnamon - on the tip of a teaspoon
  • Gvozlika - 15 pcs.
  • Water - 1 l
  • Salt - 50 g
  • Sugar - 50 g
  • Acetic essence (70%) - 3 tsp.

Cooking:

  1. Chop the cabbage (can cut into pieces of about 5 to 5 cm). Peel the carrots and cut them into thin, long slices. Mix cabbage with carrots and tamp everything thoroughly in 3 l cans. Ram not very tightly so that there is room for liquid.
  2. Pour boiling water over the cabbage and let cool until it becomes warm.
  3. While the cabbage will cool, you can prepare the brine. Put it on fire. As soon as it boils, reduce the heat and leave the brine to boil for 1 minute.
  4. Drain the water from the jar with cabbage, and pour the marinade into the jar. Add acetic acid there. Roll the jar metal lid. The jar should be thoroughly shaken so that the vinegar is well mixed.

  • Cabbage - 5 kg
  • Carrots - 300 g
  • Apple - 150 g
  • Sugar - 400 g
  • Salt - 100 g
  • Black pepper - 1 tbsp.
  • Black pepper peas - 2 pcs.
  • Vinegar - 400 ml
  • Water - 1 l

Cooking:

  1. Take a grater and rub on it cabbage, carrots and apples. Mix rubbed foods.
  2. In the resulting mixture, add sugar and salt, black pepper and bell pepper. All components are again thoroughly mixed and left for 2 hours to make the mixture true.
  3. Prepare the marinade: stir vinegar in a liter of water. Brine to boil, then pour into liter jars. Banks should be filled in a quarter.
  4. After the marinade has cooled, place the cabbage in jars.
  5. Banks must be sterilized within 30 minutes.

Some tips on cooking pickled cabbage

  • Make sure that the cabbage was snow-white. Green leaves can be bitter.
  • If you leave cabbage under a capron lid, do not forget to periodically press it with a wooden stick or fork, which does not rust.
  • Do not add a lot of salt. Cabbage salt does not like.
  • Do not be afraid to make pickled cabbage for the first time. You will do fine if you follow the recipe exactly.
