Gooseberry sauce

  1. Gooseberry - 500 g
  2. Apple Juice - 100 ml

  • Wash green berries, tails can be cut off if desired. Stew the gooseberries in salted water until it is boiled soft.
  • Wash the whole berry mass through a sieve or grind it in a blender. When the mash is cool a little, add apple juice, a little finely chopped lemon, sugar, salt, and black ground pepper.
  • Arrange the sauce in jars and store in the refrigerator.

Gooseberry sauce is better served with goose and duck dishes, it will give them juiciness and sourness.
