  • Gooseberry - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 900 g
  • Orange - 2 pieces


  1. Rinse the berries with warm water several times. Wash the oranges, peel and divide into slices. Twist the gooseberry and oranges in a meat grinder. Put everything in an enamel bowl and cover it with sugar for 3-4 hours. Then make the jam, remove the froth and set aside for another same time.
  2. Sterilize jars of jam.
  3. Boil it again until it becomes jelly-like. Carefully see that it does not burn.
  4. Jam a little cool, minutes 7-10, lay out in jars and close the lids, you can nylon. In this case, it is better to store the jam in the cellar or in the refrigerator. And if you rolled up the cans with iron lids, you can simply keep the jam in a cool, dry place.
