Dumpling soup recipe

Chicken Dumpling Soup


  1. 3-4 potatoes
  2. Carrots - 1-2 pieces
  3. Onions - 1 pc
  4. Chicken or Offal - 400 g
  5. Egg - 1 pc
  6. Flour - 150 g
  7. A bunch of greens - 1 pc
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Pepper - to taste.


  • Cook chicken broth. A few minutes before the end of cooking the broth, place the peeled onion in the pan.
  • Peel the potatoes, cut them into small pieces as you like (diced, sliced). Add to the stock.
  • Grate the carrots on a coarse or fine grater (to your taste) and pour them into the pan with the broth and potatoes.
  • For cooking dumplings mix flour, raw egg, some water (approximately 100 g). Salt, pepper to taste. The dough for dumplings should be like thick sour cream.
  • When the soup is almost ready, add the dumplings to it. To do this, add the dough in a spoonful of it. The dough is boiled soft and the dumplings become larger than you took. Consider it!
  • Spread the dough into the soup quickly. And cook the soup with added dumplings for another 5 minutes.
  • Turn off the fire, add the chopped greens. Let stand for a while and cool slightly.

Potato dumplings soup


  1. Potatoes - 250 g
  2. Carrots - 50 g
  3. Onions - 100 g
  4. Water - 1 l
  5. Flour - 150 g
  6. Milk - 130 g
  7. Butter (margarine) - 20 g
  8. Vegetable oil - for passaging
  9. Egg - 1 pc
  10. Salt - to taste
  11. Pepper to taste
  12. Bay leaf - 1-2 pieces


  • Peel the potatoes. Cut it into small cubes. Put in a pot of boiling salted water.
  • Peel the onions and cut them into rings or half rings. Rescue in oil.
  • Peel and grate the carrots. Spread on oil.
  • After 15 minutes After boiling the potatoes, pour the onions, carrots into the pan and add the bay leaves and pepper to taste.
  • Make dumplings: Mash softened butter with egg yolk. Gradually add flour and milk, mix thoroughly to avoid lumps. Salt the dough. Egg whites need to be whipped in a blender until foam and gently add to the dough.
  • 5 min. before the end of cooking the soup, enter the future dumplings with a teaspoon.
  • Potato soup is ready! Good appetite!
