If you have a multicooker among the kitchen devices, you can easily cook almost any dish: fried and stewed, boiled and baked. All kinds of pastry and baked goods are very fond of children, although adult sweets are no exception. But not everyone can work with the test.
A unique multifunctional device comes to the rescue, and it equally replaces the pan and the pan in the kitchen and the oven itself. We present you a recipe for a kefir cake, baked in a slow cooker.
Chocolate delicacy for tea
The technology of making any cupcakes in the slow cooker is the same. First knead the dough, poured into the form, then - baked. Notice, we said "poured", as the cupcake base usually has a watery texture.
To make the cupcake airy, the dough is whipped with a mixer or a whisk, and not stirred. In size, it is approximately equal to a small sponge cake. Most often, the cupcake does not decorate in any way, just sprinkled with powdered sugar on top. Various flavors can also go into the batch: raisins, candied fruits, jam, chocolate. And they serve such baking more often not on ordinary days, but on occasion. Let's cook in the slow cooker the most delicious chocolate cake not kefir.
We will need:
- 1.5 Art. kefir;
- 3 eggs;
- 3 tbsp. flour;
- 2 tbsp. Sahara;
- 0.5 tbsp. cocoa powder;
- 0.5 tsp. baking soda (or baking powder);
- 0.5 tbsp. sunflower oil.
You can mix the ingredients in a separate container, and then pour the multicooker into the tank, or knead directly in the miracle saucepan. The sequence of making chocolate cake on kefir in a slow cooker is as follows:
- First of all we extinguish soda in kefir.
- Then break 2 eggs and thoroughly whisk the mixture with a whisk (mixer).
- It was the turn to add cocoa powder and butter. It is more convenient to pour in portions, constantly stirring the mixture intensively.
- Now add bulk products (flour and sugar). Beat the mixture do not stop.
- When the batch has a homogeneous consistency, lightly coat the electric pan inside with lean meat and pour our dough there.
- And finally: close the slow cooker, select the "baking" menu, set the timer for 90 minutes. While the cake is baked, you can do something else.
- Decorate chocolate muffins with powdered sugar (which looks contrast) or chocolate ganache (melted chocolate). In the latter case, the variety of chocolate does not play a special role, but it is better to choose bitter varieties.
Do you want to bake an unusual striped zebra cupcake in a slow cooker? Think it's hard? And no.
"Zebra" from the multicooker
A zebra cupcake is baked in a slow cooker in almost the same way as chocolate or any other. Distinguishes this product characteristic banding in the section. So, we should have a dough of 2 colors. Traditionally for zebra chocolate and vanilla flavors are chosen. But the stripes may not necessarily be brown and light. For example, replacing cocoa with cranberry, pomegranate, or some other saturated color syrup, or using food coloring.
For a zebra you need at least 2 doughs differing in color. In composition, they are absolutely identical, the difference is only the "pigment" ingredient. We use the same kefir base as in the previous recipe: we will add cocoa to one container, but not to another.
It is much more important to consider how the bands are formed. There is no secret here. In the oiled bowl of the multicooker, we alternately pour the base in small portions. Use a spoon or a ladle, so you will spend both mixes in equal shares.
Pour the first spoonful of dough into the middle of the bottom of the bowl of the slow cooker. The next spoon is the dough of a different color. Pour exactly in the middle, gently and slowly. And so on until all the dough is in the bowl. It looks like radial circles of a sawed tree - beautiful, unusual. The baking process is standard.
In the recipe of the cake on kefir in the slow cooker, other composite variations are possible - not just a color change. For example, replacing sunflower oil with butter, to taste the cake will approach the biscuit. And if you add lemon or orange zest to the dough, you get a delicious pastry with citrus flavor and aroma. Other food additives create a peculiarity of taste: vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, juices and fruit pulp, nuts and so on.
Simple cake recipes for kefir, right? Note that such a delicacy does not really “strike” on your figure, in 100 g of baking a little more than 300 calories. Chocolate or nutty, unfortunately, slightly calorie. But, if you do not lean on the tasty, from one piece nothing terrible happen ?!
