Candied apple

Recipe for candied apples

Composition:

  1. apples - 1 kg
  2. sugar - 1.2 kg
  3. water - 400 g

Cooking:

  • Fresh apples to sort, peel, cut into slices to your own taste.
  • Blanch apple slices in boiling water for about 10 minutes. Sharply and quickly immerse in cold water.
  • From the water where the apples were blanched, prepare the syrup. To do this, pour sugar there.
  • When the sugar is completely dissolved in hot water, pour apples with syrup. Leave them for a few hours.
  • After 4 hours we put the pot on the fire and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and leave overnight (8 h.). Boil again for 6-7 minutes. And leave the clock at 5. Repeat the procedure until the apples become transparent.
  • A little bit will have to tinker with boiling through a long time. But you can reduce the time of settling up to 3-4 hours.
  • At the end we throw the apples on a sieve to stack the extra syrup.
  • Put the slices of apples on a baking sheet and put in the oven. Dried candied in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, the temperature should be about 150 degrees. Leave the oven door ajar so that the candied fruits are not steamed!
  • If desired, 10 minutes after drying, sprinkle with sugar slices. Then again send in the oven to dry.
