The beautiful name "Charlotte" used to carry hot bread pudding with various fruit fillings, named after Queen Charlotte. But today we used to call simple apple pie with charlotte.
Composition of charlotte
- 2-3 eggs
- Sugar - 1st.
- Soda - 1 tsp
- Flour - 1st.
- Water - 4 tbsp.
- Apples - 2 pcs
- Cinnamon - 1 h.
- Such a cake is prepared very quickly, the dough is so simple that it will be easy for any housewife.
- Beat eggs with sugar in a lush foam, add the sifted flour twice. All well stirred and put soda.
- Apples should be washed in warm water, peeled from the skin and cut into slices.
- Now pour the boiled water in the dough and put the apples. If you like apples to feel good, you can put them on top of the dough. The fact is that if the apples are put in a large layer from below or in the middle, then the cake may or may not be baked, or fall apart. Do not forget to add cinnamon to the dough.
- We put our "Charlotte" in the oven for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 170-200C. When the cake has cooled, put it on the dish and garnish with fresh apples.
