Materials:

  • ruler, pencil;
  • PVA glue;
  • markers.

Instruction:

  1. We draw on the Whatman paper a rectangle of the desired height and width.

  • stationery scissors;

  • double sided tape.

Instruction:

  1. We print out any drawing on 2 sheets (it is better to take an abstraction).
  2. On one sheet we draw a rectangle, add a 2.5 cm allowance to one of the long sides.
  3. Divide the allowance by an integer and cut them to the baseline.
  4. At each rectangle we cut off small corners. Glue sidewalls.
  5. On the second sheet we also draw a rectangle, the length of which is 0.7 cm longer than the first, and the height is equal to the desired height of the lid.
  6. On one of the sides we also make allowances and repeat steps 3-4.
  7. Measure the length of 2 circles and make 2 blanks-circle for each part.
  8. We put the circle to the base, bring the triangles out and glue them.
  9. We close the seams with the second circle, gluing it to the first double-sided tape.
  10. For the cover, repeat steps 8-9. The box with the lid is ready.

  • posterboard;
  • stationery scissors;
  • compass;
  • pencil;

  1. On a cardboard we draw a circle of the necessary diameter, we cut it out.
  2. Draw a rectangle whose height will be the height of the box.
  3. Make an allowance of 4 cm to one of the sides of the rectangle. Cut the part.
  4. The oversize is overlaid in several places and glued to the circle.
  5. Draw a circle whose diameter will be 1.5 cm less than the first. Cut out.
  6. Cover the resulting circle with a cloth, glue it on the reverse side.
  7. Glue the bottom to the base.
  8. Repeat steps 1-4 for the box cover.
  9. Cut a rectangle out of cardboard about 8 cm in height, equal to the diameter of the base plus 2 cm.
  10. Glue the side parts of the resulting strip.
  11. Glue the strip into the base so that about 5 cm protrude outwards. A cap will be put on this ledge.
  12. Getting to the decoration of the box. We make fabric circles a few centimeters more than the circumference of the bottom and the cover.
  13. We cut the edges of the tissue circles, glue them to the basics.
  14. Cut out rectangles from the fabric, with which we wrap the outer and inner sides of the circle.
  15. To hide the butt of the fabric outside, you can make a small fold. The box for the cake is ready.

Decorating round boxes

In addition to the pattern and fabric, round boxes can be decorated with almost any decorative elements:

  • sequins, rhinestones, beads (especially if the cardboard is covered with cloth);
  • applications;
  • lace;
  • tapes;
  • fabric flowers, bows, etc.
