The main feature is a rare watering and beautiful appearance. Florists are advised to use to decorate open terraces, loggias, arbors in the garden or to create a green corner in your own home. The plant is not very demanding on a lot of daylight. Dichondra can grow well even when darkened, but you should not completely deprive it of natural light, because with time this can lead to the fact that the leaves of dichondra become pale, and the flower itself is very weak. Reproduction shoots

Dichondra can also be propagated with the help of processes. For this, the stalks of the plant are cut off and transplanted immediately to the prepared substrate, covered with a plastic bottle or plastic wrap from above. In the soil, the stems deepen a couple of cm and slightly pressed down from all sides, then watering is performed.

In just a few days, the roots will begin to appear, the young processes will sprout. In order to reproduce easily in this way, it is recommended to keep the seedlings warm and to provide them with quality care. That is why it is necessary to create a greenhouse effect, which accelerates rooting. It is better to take root cuttings in a fertile substrate, on well-lit windows and warm.

In our gardens, ampelnaya dichondra appeared not very long ago, but has already become one of the most popular ornamental plants among landscape designers, because with its help you can make a real green carpet on the ground. Also, this plant is suitable for decorating balconies, terraces, garden arbors and the walls of houses, it is enough just to plant it in hanging pots.
