Oatmeal cutlets

Oat patties: a traditional recipe

Composition:

  • oatmeal - 2 tbsp. l
  • medium onion head - 2 pcs
  • water - 300 ml
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • dill, ground black pepper, salt - to taste
  • vegetable oil

Cooking:

  1. Pour the right amount of oatmeal into the pot, pour boiling water and leave for 10 minutes.
  2. At this time, dice the onions and fry it a little. Put the onions in the pan with oatmeal.
  3. Chop the garlic (grate or chop finely), chop the dill, put it in a saucepan with oatmeal and onion.
  4. Salt and pepper to your taste and mix everything.
  5. Stuffing for oatmeal cutlets is ready. Now we make from it cutlets of any size and fry on medium heat until ready.

Oat patties with mushrooms

Composition:

  • oatmeal - 2 tbsp.
  • medium onion head - 1 pc
  • potato - 3 pcs
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • champignons - 100 g
  • dill, ground black pepper, salt to taste
  • cooking oil for frying
  • breadcrumbs

Cooking:

  1. Peel the potatoes and grate it. Squeeze out the potato mass from the juice.
  2. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Mix squeezed potato mass with oatmeal (you can pre-infused in boiling water), onions and garlic.
  3. Ready minced salt and pepper to your taste.
  4. Make cutlets, roll them in breadcrumbs.
  5. Put the cutlets on the pan and cook over medium heat, covered with a lid.
  6. Fried champignons are served to these oatmeal cutlets, but mushrooms can also be included in the recipe. To do this, pre-cook the mushrooms, chop and add to the stuffing.

Oat patties in vegetable broth

Composition:

  • oatmeal - 1 tbsp.
  • semolina -1 st.l.
  • vegetable broth - 1 tbsp.
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • parsley - 2 tbsp.
  • Green onions - 1 tbsp.
  • grated nutmeg - pinch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking:

  1. Stir the oatmeal with semolina and cover with hot vegetable broth. If desired, vegetable broth can be replaced by chicken. Leave it all for half an hour, so that the flakes are well swollen and filled with broth.
  2. Then add chopped greens and garlic to the swollen mass, as well as salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Mix well all. Wet your hands in water and sculpt the patties. Then fry them until crusted.
  4. As a breading, you can use chopped oat flakes. To do this, they can grind in a coffee grinder.
