  • Cook the following ingredients: carrots, eggs and potatoes. To save time and place, put the potatoes and carrots in one pan. Boil until cooked, about 25 minutes. Cook hard-boiled eggs in another saucepan.
  • While the ingredients are boiling, peel the onions and finely chop them. Transfer the onions to a deep plate, add salt and scald with boiling water. Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse under cold water. This will discourage the bitterness of onions, which are not needed in the salad.
  • Cut ham into cubes or thin straws.
  • Rinse the tomatoes and dry them. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and set aside. Tomatoes will be needed later. Separate tomatoes for salad and garnish in advance.
  • Grate grated cheese, rinse the herbs and shake it.
  • Peel the cooked eggs, separate the white from the yolk, and grate everything. Chilled vegetables (potatoes and carrots), grate.
