Due to the popularity of this simple pharmacy that it is an excellent antiseptic for fresh wounds and cuts. However, the use of hydrogen peroxide does not end there. Many women have long been using the drug for the treatment of acne, lightening the skin from black spots, bleaching pigment spots and freckles.

In fact, peroxide is a concentration of equal proportions of water and hydrogen. When it gets on the skin, the preparation breaks down into oxygen and water, as a result of which an oxidative reaction is formed, which effectively kills bacteria and microorganisms. In this way, the skin is cleansed. However, it is worth noting that hydrogen peroxide does not distinguish between harmful bacteria and beneficial microorganisms, and kills them all.

It turns out that the use of hydrogen peroxide is harmful to the skin of the face? In fact, everything is not as scary as it may seem at first glance. Wipe face with hydrogen peroxide is contraindicated only in some cases:

  • if there are visible skin defects in the form of psoriasis or eczema;

  2. Now pour the powder into a small plastic cup and fill it with hydrogen peroxide.
  3. Then wash your face and apply a mask on your skin.
  4. After 3-5 minutes, the remnants of the mask should be thoroughly washed off the face.

Note: 5% hydrogen peroxide solution is only suitable for oily and problem skin. If you have a normal type, then dilute the concentration of the drug with water to 1-3%.

Composition:

  • 3 tbsp. l badyagi powder;
  • 3% peroxide solution.

Preparation and use:

  1. Pour a few tablespoons of Badyagi powder into a small clean bowl and pour 3% concentration of hydrogen peroxide solution so that the consistency resembles thick cream.
  2. Stir the mixture in a bowl with a fork until a foam forms on the surface.
  3. Then apply the mask on a pre-cleansed face with a cosmetic brush with a thin layer, avoiding contact with the mouth and eyes.
  4. Leave the product for 10 minutes, then rinse the face thoroughly with warm water, wipe with a towel and apply a softening cream.

Tonic

Composition:

  • 2 tbsp. l hydrogen peroxide 5%;
  • 3 tbsp. l water.

Preparation and use:

  1. In a small measuring cup it is necessary to dilute the solution of hydrogen peroxide with water.
  2. Then you need to remove the remnants of makeup from the face and wash it with the use of baby soap.
  3. After washing the face, it is necessary to dry with a towel, apply a little hydrogen peroxide solution with water on a cotton pad and wipe those skin areas that are most susceptible to inflammation.
  4. Wait about 2-3 minutes for the hydrogen peroxide to work and rinse your face with water.
  5. Apply a moisturizer to your face to prevent drying.

  • 1 tbsp. l hydrogen peroxide;
  • 1 tbsp. l baking soda;
  • 2 tbsp. l tea tree oil.

Preparation and use:

  1. In a small bowl, you need to mix soda and hydrogen peroxide together, wait a while until the foam settles.
  2. Then you need to add to the solution a few spoons of tea tree oil and mix well.
  3. Then we wash the face with antibacterial soap and apply a mask.
  4. After 5 minutes, we remove the remnants of the mask, rinse the face and apply a nourishing cream.

Precautionary measures

Hydrogen peroxide in its action - quite aggressive drug. Therefore, it should be used with some caution. You can protect yourself and your skin, if you follow some rules:

  • Check your skin for allergic reactions to hydrogen peroxide. To do this, 24 hours before use, put a drop on the wrist. If there is no redness and itching, then the tool is quite suitable for you.
  • For normal skin, use only 3% solution. Hydrogen peroxide with a concentration of 5% is only suitable for very oily skin.
  • Be careful when applying masks. Do not allow peroxide and other components in the eyes and skin of the eyelids. Ready masks, tonics and scrubs should be kept in places difficult to reach from small children.
  • Use hydrogen peroxide for the face is allowed no more than 1 time per week, otherwise you can get chemical burns.
